A tribe called peace - South Sudan

‘A Tribe Called Peace’ sprang out of the need to find durable and peaceful solutions to the issue of tribalism in Southern Sudan. A 20-artist (approx. 10 male, 10 female) band (singers, musicians and dancers), representing many of the diverse tribes in Southern Sudan will tackle this issue in their productions, outlying non-violent sustainable solutions.

The project aims at spreading non-violence as a viable alternative for solving tribalism issues in Southern Sudan. Broadcasting live via mobile FM pre-concert material, evening concerts, post-concert conversations, follow up community dialogues about non-violence the day after, are some of the activities aiming at reaching broader audiences throughout the area.
